Easter Egg Hunt
The kids had a great time this year at annual egg hunt because the weather was gorgeous!! We used Gerry's Playground and hid 1000 eggs - the Easter bunny appeared, kids had their face painted and balloon animals were made. After the hunt, alot of kids stayed and played on the playground. What a fun day!!
 
 
Wine Night and Dining Club
The adults had a great time passing the winter months! We gathered for a Wine Night that was presented by Shubies. We tasted affordable wines from Europe and they were great. The Dining Club started up again - 4 Couples per house - we schedule a dinner 4 times a year and pair you up with different people every time.
 
 
Fall time Fun
We've had a great fall this year! We went on a hayride and made scarecrows at Brooksby Farms. The kids had a great time and so did the adults! There were lots of apples on the trees, so we were able to pick a few bags to take home.
We had a packed house for the Halloween party at the library. There was a children's entertainer and everyone was dancing and singing. We made fun bats and ghosts and the kids received a halloween balloon to take home! This party is such a big hit, we will definitely do it again next year!
 
 
Summertime Sailing
NAN members had a great time on the water this summer. We had two fun events - the Mahi Mahi cruise that left out of Marblehead and the Fame Schooner that sailed out of Salem. Both nights were magnificent and it was great to mingles with new and old members! For those who missed it, we hope to see you out on the water next summer!
 
 
Boston Ballet Storytime
On June 8th, The Boston Ballet offered Newcomers and Natives a free, special storytime program based on the ballet story “The Sleeping Beauty." The program was held at the Boston Ballet School's studio at the Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA in Marblehead. Children listened to the story of “The Sleeping Beauty,” saw Princess Aurora’s tutu, and participated in the ballet's famous “garland dance,” they then finished off the event by making their own fairy wand. They all had a fabulous time!
